Black Desk Lamps

When people hear the phrase black desk lamp, they commonly only think of a lamp stand that is constructed out of black material that holds a standard 75 watt light bulb, but the truth is that there are a wide variety of different styles in which you can buy them. However, while there are a lot of various types of designs associated with these lamps, a few stand out as being more prominent.

The first type of black desk lamp that has gained a large amount of popularity in both the business and the personal worlds is the architectural style lamp. Focusing on a cantilever type design, it creates a great deal of flexibility in the area of where the actually light is able to be directed. The operator simply moves the two arms to adjust them to where he or she would like the powerful LED's to shine. Instead of using large bulbs that consume a lot of precious space and electricity, the LED bulbs in these lamps are a lot more environmentally friendly and they are able to outlive the majority of regular bulbs.

Second in this list but in no means function, is the black desk lamp that incorporates an office organization base system to allow you to keep your commonly used office supplies close at hand while still giving you an adequate amount of light. Generally, the heads of these lamps are mounted atop flexible steel necks that allow you to adjust the angle of the bulb's output in order to get light wherever it is needed on the desk. These styles are available with either the popular LED bulbs providing you with a lot of brightness, or the traditional bulbs that are much easier to replace in the event that one of them should fail.
